Arrival time

We are leaving the Eurotunnel and we are expecting to be back at Challoner around  8:30pm.

We are boarding the Eurostar and we are on schedule. We will update you when we are back in Blighty!

The boys visited the largest British military cemetery in the world.

German War Graves

Yesterday we visited the German war graves at Langemarck.

Apologies

We are having some wi-fi issues at the hotel which are making updates difficult. We will try and update properly later today but just to say the boys are all well and enjoying the trip.

Tank Cemetery

We have just stopped off to pay our respects at Matthew Hutton's great great grandfather's grave. Matthew's great great grandfather was killed on the 13/05/1917 aged 32. Matthew laid a wreath at Private Alfred James Cecil's grave and the boys joined in a prayer of remembrance. We are having a good day and will update you with further details when we get back to the hotel.

Quick update

There was a minor technical hitch with one of the coaches this morning but we have now all arrived safely for the Eurostar train. Two groups have departed on an earlier train with the other groups waiting for their scheduled train which is due to depart at 11:50am.

Ready to depart!

All the boys are safely on their coaches and we are ready for the off! We will update the blog whenever we can over the next few days.
